Weight Loss The Healthy Way!
Losing weight is not hard if you know what you are doing and have the determination to live the rest of your life in good health. Some things to keep in mind with any good weight loss program.
1. Many people wanting to lose weight exercise at a heart rate that is way to high to be able to burn fat. It sounds contradictory, however, weight loss is actually very easy. Exercise should be done at a low heart rate, which should be fun and enjoyable.
A general rule of thumb:
180 – Your age = the heart rate you should not go over.
Example: 180 – 30 = 150 (This 30 year old person should never be over 150 beat per minute when doing their cardio workout for 30-36 minutes per day).
Following this rule of thumb will keep you in fat burning zones and you will notice you are losing weight much more quickly.
2. More muscle means burning more calories. Any good weight loss program will involve building muscle.
3. Refer to the section on Cleansing & Detoxification for more information. Often patients will lose on average of 12-16 pounds of fate in the first 3 weeks of the cleansing program.
4. Through office visits and Webinars we will cover in detail everything you need to know in order to make the healthy lifestyle changes in order to turn you into a fat burning machine.
5. Drink lot of water. You can’t lose weight if you are in a constant state of partial dehydration. A good rule of thumb is drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces. Ex. If you weigh 200 pounds then you drink a minimum of 100 ounces of WATER per day.
6. We will always get very specific and define our goals and you will be coached in order to follow through and have consistency for the rest of your life.
